Knife Gate Valve

A Knife Gate Valve is designed to control the flow of fluids through a pipe by means of a blade or gate that slides back and forth across the opening of the valve. Knife gate valves provide a lower valve pressure drop and are better suited for handling slurries, solids, and other fluid/solids mixtures than ordinary plug, butterfly, or ball valves.
