Sub Main Distribution Panel Board

A sub-main distribution board (SMDB) is an electrical panel used to distribute power to a building’s specific area or circuits, and it’s indeed typically connected to the main distribution board (MDB). A key characteristic of SMDBs is that they’re usually dedicated to a specific area of the building or a collection of circuits, as opposed to the main distribution board which is responsible for the overall power distribution throughout the entire building.
